Chapter 5 · 5.5
Sort and filter
Watch it in a short video
Sorting puts your data in a particular order, for example alphabetically by customer name. Filtering shows only the rows you're looking for, for example all customers in Utrecht.

Quick sorting
Click in the column you want to sort by and click Sort ascending (A to Z) or Sort descending (Z to A) on the Data tab (or Home) (1). Euro-Office keeps the rows together: the city and package move along with the customer.
Sorting by multiple columns
Click Custom sort (3). Use the buttons at the top of the window to add more levels, for example first by city and then by customer name.

Filtering
- Click in the table and click Filter (2). An arrow appears above each column.
- Click the arrow for a column and tick what you want to see. For numbers and dates, you can also choose conditions such as Greater than or Top 10.
- The row numbers of filtered rows turn blue. Use Clear filter to see everything again.
Tip: at the bottom of the status bar, you'll see the sum, average and count of the selected cells. When a filter is active, only the visible rows count towards the SUBTOTAL. Use Remove duplicates on the Data tab to remove duplicate rows in one go.
