*SSL / Certificate information

By default, websites are shown via the HTTP protocol. These days it is increasingly important to have your site work with the HTTPS protocol. Most browsers show alarming warnings when a site is shown via the HTTP protocol, and of course it is simply safer to use the HTTPS protocol.

For Linux hosting we offer the free Let's Encrypt certificate, and for both Windows and Linux hosting we also offer the paid RapidSSL certificate. Click here for more information about the Let's Encrypt certificate and click here for more information about the RapidSSL certificate.

With our articles, we have made it possible for our customers to set up a certificate themselves. If you lack the necessary knowledge or would rather leave setting up the certificate to us, you can use our paid security service. Click here for more information.

For Linux hosting you do not need your own IP address to set up a certificate. For Windows hosting this is a requirement, click here for more information.
